*A somewhat unconventional exploration of our visual surroundings through scent.
Working with a process of creating scent from image, *Apt breaks down selected imagery into its perceived elements and what they evoke, whether simple and obvious or obscure and subjective. These elements are then blended and recreated into a wearable scent. Finding the spoon-fed-romance-story branding approach of fragrances stuffy and dated, *Apt attempts to create a conceptual
and playful space that’s devoid of romantic notion, leaving the wearer to experience the fragrances as they please and wear them as they will.
